Should I keep up with this blog? It's been over a week since I last posted, but no-one has looked or read or glanced at any of the posts. It would be great if this could actually turn into a conversation, but it's lonely standing on this island by myself.
I'll be back tomorrow for answers. but here's a few more pictures:
|
Big Ben from a double-decker bus |
There are terrific photo chances on the 2nd level front seat of these buses!
|
The not-there-and-yet-there column at Platform 9 and 3/4! |
I went with a couple of friends to Kings Cross and picked up some school supplied for Ravenclaw.
|
Oxford Sign |
|
Stairs used in The Sorcerer's Stone the first time we see Professor McGonagall |
We took an entire day - 8 am to 11:30 pm - and went up to Oxford to explore History, both fictional and non-fictional.
|
outside of Oxford |
It was a beautiful moment around this site. Only a little over a dozen of us went, but so worth it!

Genealogy Chart from 1485 |
Nana, I thought of you when I saw this. There was a lot more to the scroll still on the roll, but it is reassuring that our charts today are just as complicated as in the 15th century.
Hi Cindy. No keep this up. it is a great way to catalog your trip to London. I didn't know we could comment on your blog. I'm glad I found this. Were the animals in the court yard real? We do enjoy reading your experiences and seeing the photos. Especially the photos of you at different places. You in the photo is more important than the place of a photo. What did you find to be the most interesting thing in the ABBY? When you return I will be unemployed and Cadie and I will be climbing Mt. Naomi in Cache County. But that story will wait until after it happens. Please keep up the post. Love you my girl. love dad.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'll try to get more with me in them, but I'm still perfecting the selfie without a phone technique. Westminster Abbey had so much in it. I got very excited when I started recognizing names like Tennyson and Blake and Shakespeare and many others. One of the biggest things I've come to realize is that you're walking on graves when you go into these abbeys, cathedrals, and churches. It is a different type of respect to the dearly departed than what I am familiar with.
DeleteYou are wearing a scarf...
ReplyDeleteRavenclaw?
I also didn't realize about the comments section. I'll go back and comment on the other photos I saw, like the Xenia hotel :) I'm glad you have this opportunity.
Yes, Ravenclaw. Turns out that is my Hogwarts house, who knew!
DeleteHi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying following your adventures. Keep sharing!
Thank's Wendy!
DeleteGood Morning Sweetie,
ReplyDeletePlease keep sharing your wonderful adventures and fabulous photos. I went to Salem, Oregon to a class on Ancient Tibetan Singing Bowls and on My way Home I went Skydiving again!!! I love the genealogy chart!
Sending you my Love and Hugs,
Nana

ReplyDeleteNo, haven't noticed a tall blonde guy with the surname Ramsey. Sorry for deleting the post, I'm working on my iPad and I have to be careful to touch the right spots.
DeleteUh, ya! Sorry for my delay! So.... Huh, any good ciders there? ;-)
ReplyDeleteBy repute, I hear beer and wine are big over here! There is an ale people in my flat are enjoying though. Shows how much I know about beverages, huh.
DeleteKeep Posting. Thanks to Dixie for publicizing this! (David Kite)
